Distance and Transport from Volos – Skiathos

Volos → Skiathos is roughly 76 km by sea. Fast ferries make the crossing in 1-2 hours, depending on the vessel and stops.
In summer there are up to four daily sailings from Volos to Skiathos, with the first departure around 07:30 and the last about 18:15.
By road, Platanias lies about 60 km south of Volos (1–1¼ hours by car) via Argalasti.
